Enen no Shouboutai
Terror has paralyzed the clockwork metropolis of Tokyo! Possessed by demons, people have begun to burst into flame, leading to the establishment of a special firefighting department: the Fire Force, ready to roll on a moment's notice to fight spontaneous combustion anywhere it might break out.
One of the Fire Force teams is about to get a unique addition: Shinra, a boy who possesses the unique power to run at the speed of a rocket, leaving behind the famous "devil's footprints" and destroying his shoes in the process. Can the Fire Force discover the source of this strange phenomenon and put a stop to it? Or will the city burn to ashes first?
La terreur a paralysé la métropole mécanique de Tokyo! Possédés par des démons, des gens ont commencé à s'enflammer, ce qui a conduit à la création d'un service spécial de lutte contre les incendies: la Fire Force, prête à intervenir à tout moment pour lutter contre la combustion spontanée, où qu'elle se produise.
Une des équipes de la Force de feu est sur le point d'obtenir un ajout unique: Shinra, un garçon qui possède le pouvoir unique de courir à la vitesse d'une fusée, laissant derrière lui les fameuses "empreintes de diable" et détruisant ses chaussures. At first glance it's a fairly standard urban fantasy; the twist that caught my attention is "solving the mystery" of why Infernals suddenly started appearing. That seems like it might lead in some really interesting directions.

This series is a bit of a mess. On the one hand, it is an interesting premise that people are spontaneously transforming into demons that must be fought. On the other hand, the execution is iffy in my view. The shonen elements are done well enough, but the plot in the first episode felt a bit lacking (largely due to the exposition taking the form of "as you know ..." dialogue). All in all, it has some potential, but feels like the first episode had it's priorities wrong.

Series opener was okay. Pity this show suffered fro Kyoto Animation attack. Still it seems it flashy but lacks the punch in the end.
