Matsumae Ohana was a fairly ordinary high school girl who is suddenly sent to live with her grandmother when her mother and mother’s boyfriend decide they want to be alone for a while. This catches her completely off guard, but she goes to the Onsen her grandmother own only to discover that she’s expected to work there as well. At first she rejects the idea, but then decides to turn herself into that perfect Onsen hostess. But it’s not quite going exactly as planned…

Reviews

Michael Eh?

Heartwarming tale of a family ... NOT! Poor teenage daughter ... carefree mother ... heartless grandmother. However this seems to be mainstay of anime and dramas based on out of the way INN in Japan. I'm not surprised at the overbearing grandmother who runs the inn. It's practically cliche'.

Glenn

Surprisingly non-perverted.

Maxy

it's fine.

Crazyleo

I've found this review to be quite inspirational. I too had been through a drastic event in my life when my father passed away, so I know what the main character is going through in the series.

Doug

This looks like the setup for a realistic version of the Cinderella story. It seems OK for what it is, and the characters are interesting, but the story is not something that would hold my attention for too long.

humanbean

like it. a pretty decent dramedy.
