Kaboku Kotani is starting high school, and he plans to do what he’s always done: go along with his friends, keep quiet, and not draw too much attention to himself. After all, it’s hard enough to get by with a stutter like his, why make things worse by standing out from the crowd? But then he sees another first-year, Hikari Wanda, dancing like no one is watching or like she doesn’t care who sees her. It makes Kaboku wonder: Could he reach that same freedom? To find his way to Wanda, he does something he never thought he could: He joins the dance club. After all, every routine begins with a single step, right? Join Kaboku and Wanda as they freestyle their way to life and love.

Down to earth teen romance. Everyone looks pretty normal, but the artist put a lot of effort into framing the female love interest's eyes. Two shy/socially awkward kids coming together through dance. The Scatman music video in the episode is pure expository gold.

Two minutes in, and I can clearly see the CGI in the dance sequence.  <br>
It isn't necessarily a dealbreaker, but the fact that they made all the dancers look the same really bothered me.  It struck me as lazy.  <br>
The pace was very slow, which was also something I found to be irritating.  I can be patient, but only if I see something else interesting in the show first.  <br>
I usually don't care for sports anime, and this one is not off to a good start.
