Tokyo Crazy Paradise

Set in a futuristic Japan where crime has elevated and apathy prevails, Tsukasa is brought up as a boy in order to protect her from the crime-ridden Japan.
When the murder of Tsukasa's parents leaves her and her brothers homeless, she finds herself turning to the same people responsible for the deaths of her parents - the yakuza and fellow classmate/Yakuzi head, Ryuji. From their very first meeting, Tsukasa finds herself in debt to Ryuji, and the only way to pay it off is to become his bodyguard. Yet, the incurring debt seems to greatly increase, regardless of how much Tsukasa works. Perhaps Ryuji has other reasons for keeping her by his side?

I have to say that I find this one of the better written Gender Bender's out there, don't get me wrong there are a lot of great plot lines and manga's out there, but I find that this is one I will keep coming back to and read over and over again. You find out rather early on who's the girl and who's the boy, unlike some other manga's, I find that it made it almost more enjoyable to me because of that, the comedy and some of the silly things the characters end up do become almost hysterical because the other characters don't know he's actually a girl. There are some rather epic cross dressing scenes (witch aren't cross dressing since she's a girl) The plot has a rather solid idea and it rises and falls a lot nicer than some manga, it does have its twists and turns but I find its more contained then most. I find the art enjoyable, though some might think its not as nice. If you enjoy reading about the main character always getting into some kind of trouble, actually laughing out loud at some of the silly things they do, and a different kind of realty based world then I'd defiantly say you should give it a try. You will find a few slower spots that kind of seem more like fillers but I find that even those add to the 'crazy' plotline and characters of Tokyo Crazy Paradise.
