Suspense in cooking and in mathematics? You bet. Not bad for a first episode.

Sure, crossovers can be fine, but a math-food crossover is quite a leap. I would definitely watch a couple more episodes to see if it gels.

This is better than I was expecting. The obvious parallel is to Food Wars, but there is also an unique charm to this one. I plan to watch a bit further and see how this goes.
